This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 11, 2008:
Healing is like drinking, sucks at first gets better to warm and fuzzy then you wake up feeling like crap wondering was that even worth it, what was i upset about again lol. On a serious note healing is a very valuable thing that we all do in an attempt to cope with ourselves. Its always rough and we thing well never get through but we somehow do and move on with our lives but sometimes those old wounds come back to haunt us and we think was it worth it. then wi think it through and relize weve truely forgotten what we were mad at of if we havent we have learned that there is no true reason to be upset with something we have no power to change. The past is just that we can no sooner change that then build the great sphynx of egypt or sail with the vikings, when we understand this the hurt is gone and we truely move on and grow from our past mistakes and hurts and learn to better safeguard our hearts ( but wheres the fun in that lol) Have a great day!

It is funny, I was thinking the same thing - I saw people posting about healing and said “well, it's great, but sometimes it hurts” - I like the drinking analogy a lot. Perfect.
I know all that you mean my dear friend :) Hugs :)))
